Alberta BioEvolution 2008 Poster

Alberta BioEvolution 2008 (1.1 mb) | Alberta BioEvolution News Release

We extend a special thank you to the many companies and organizations that are helping to promote Alberta's biotechnology, medical device and healthcare industry, including Amgen, BioLife Solutions, Economic Development For Central Oregon, Ikaria, Lease Crutcher Lewis, Merck & Co., Ratner BioMedical, SAB Architects, Technical Safety Services, and others -- sponsors of the first ever Alberta BioEvolution poster.

Alberta BioEvolution is a one-of-a-kind genealogy chart that illustrates the founding "technology origins" of more than 40 biotechnology and medical device firms located in the province of Alberta.

The Alberta BioEvolution (genealogy) poster is based on phone interviews with company and non-profit organization representatives, and depicts the origins of a company's "founding" technology and technology licensing relationships with the province's universities and non-profit research organizations -- the economic engines supporting innovative research and development. Please note that the poster does not attempt to represent relationships or affiliations between universities/non-profit research organizations and company scientists, executives or board members.

Info.Resource, owner and publisher of AlbertaLifeScience.com, invite all biotechnology and medical device firms, universities and non-profit research organizations located in the province of Alberta to review their individual listing in the Alberta BioEvolution poster included in the preceding, and to forward any corrections, other changes or suggestions to BioEvolution@Inforesource.org.

We also encourage you to review your company and/or organization listing with our Alberta life science industry directory in the following, and to send us any address and contact changes, corrections and suggestions: Alberta Life Science Industry Directory
