Alberta Life Science Genealogy (399 kb PDF)

We invite you to explore Alberta Life Science Genealogy, a one-of-a-kind image that illustrates the founding technology origins of more than 60 life science companies located the province. Specifically, the origins of the companies' founding technology with the province's universities and non-profit research organizations -- longstanding centers of innovation, technology transfer and job creation.

Also note that this poster not only illustrates the technology foundation of the province's existing life science companies, but includes in a companion poster, the companies that have come and gone since the 1980's -- providing a very unique historical perspective. To access the posters (PDF format), please click on the images below.

Please note our new Life Science Genealogy posters includes additions, deletions, corrections and suggestions received from numerous companies and technology transfer offices over the last year. We thank all for taking the time to provide their valuable feedback, insights and suggestions. Importantly, the Alberta and other posters are now maintained in a rapidly growing database that allow easy updating. Changes to company and organization listings on the posters can be sent to: Suggestions@InfoResource.org.

We hope our genealogy posters are informative, and helpful to life science leaders, and others in communicating with their Legislature, local government officials, educators and the public about the industry and its human and economic impact on healthcare, agriculture, and the environment.

The newly updated Alberta and other state posters will be made available in high-resolution digital and printed formats for distribution throughout the U.S. and Canada in the first quarter of 2019. Information about sponsorship opportunities will soon be available. If you have questions, suggestions, are interested in partnering with us to produce a genealogy poster for your state/province or are interested in sponsoring or licensing a state or province genealogy poster, please email: Solutions@InfoResource.org
