Associate Director, Strategy Breast Cancer

Commercial - Seattle, Washington

Description

The TUKSA US brand team is looking for an Associate Director, Strategy lead team member. This role is a blend of strategic and tactical work, and will contribute to the formalization of the overall marketing strategy for TUKYSA for existing and future indications in early and metastatic breast cancer settings. This position will work closely with senior leadership within Sales, Managed Markets, Market Planning, as well relevant cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive insight generation through market research, advisory boards and KOL engagement
  • Help to guide and shape overall brand strategic decisions based off of market research, competitive intelligence, advisory boards, and emerging clinical data
  • Lead commercial cross functional subteam (Sales, Sales Training, GMI, GVAP, Marketing), identify opportunities for cross functional collaboration and synergy on messaging/tactics
  • Support brand planning activities
  • Work with channel leads (digital, patient and personal channel) to ensure strategies are being pulled through
  • Identify critical issues that impact the success of promotional marketing efforts
  • Manage agency of record in development of content and materials
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present key business updates to Senior Management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent; MBA, Pharm.D., Ph.D. or other related graduate-level degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience
  • Breast cancer oncology experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop actionable insights from complex clinical data and market research
  • Knowledge of OPDP regulations and FDA promotional policy
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence without authority across functional stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution
  • Working knowledge of product development, regulatory, clinical and medical affairs
  • Ability to establish and strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with the management of external agencies as well as project budgets and timelines
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
