Senior Manager Pricing Operations & Analytics

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Pricing Operations and Contract Analytics, is responsible for the day-to-day ownership of activities supporting market pricing analysis, in-depth model creation/development, end-to-end contract performance outputs, eligibility rosters, monthly and quarterly reporting, ad-hoc analytics and cross-departmental collaborations.

This position is an important member of the Global Value Access team and will collaborate effectively with peers and partners across GVA and the broader Commercial team. This position will report to the Associate Director, Pricing & Analytics.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain portfolio pricing market data and associated trends
• Create in-depth modeling to support gross to net analysis for brand products and portfolio
• Support price analysis for development, launch, and in-market assets to inform pricing and discounting recommendations throughout assets’ lifecycle
• Serve as team data source and IT lead for technology adoption
• Liaise/engage with business partners supporting finance, channel and distribution, sales, and global value access partners
• Understand analytical and business needs for developing & delivering solutions that will provide critical insights through quantitative analyses and data modeling
• Identify and articulate improvement initiatives aligned with group and departmental goals and actively lead and/or participate in process improvement projects
• Provide ad hoc analytics as requested utilizing available reporting tools and building new tools as needed
• Support other analytic projects within the Pricing and Analytics Team
• Attend industry conferences on an as-needed basis
• Perform other related job responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 plus years industry experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with pricing analytics is preferred.
• Ability to navigate, develop, and communicate complex financial models
• Strong analytic, verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on follow-though and issue resolution
• Advanced Excel skills to support complex analytics within large data sets, development of user interfaces and managing information movement between internal and external data systems
• Self-starter with impeccable ethics and integrity, combined with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability of working within tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities in tandem
• Track record in identifying process improvements and successfully implementing change

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous industry experience in pricing analytics and gross to net modeling
• Database management
• Project management
• “Buy and Bill” models
